Samantha candidly revealed that they had faced the heartbreaking loss of two pregnancies, with life-threatening complications that resulted in the loss of both of her fallopian tubes, making natural conception impossible.
The 36-year-old sports analyst disclosed that their path to parenthood led them to in-vitro fertilization (IVF) in July 2022.
Describing the process as “physically demanding and emotionally challenging for both of us,” she detailed the intense regimen of hormones, anxiety, and the emotional rollercoaster of being a “human science project,” all while confronting a fear of needles, sometimes requiring up to three injections a day.
After enduring approximately 150 shots, surgery, a transfer, countless blood tests, and the anxiety-filled wait for positive results on the pregnancy test, Samantha shared the joyous news of their success.
